T̿͒a̔̿̽o̐́͠-͐̚͝b̓͛̿o͌͊͆h̿̒̾u̽̀-̒͠͝b͒͘͠a͋̚ó̕͠ (2024), a title combining the name of the Chinese online marketplace Taobao meaning search for treasures and the biblical Hebrew phrase bohu meaning emptiness (search for empty treasures), is a series of post-photograpic images (screenshots) of female presenters and models on Taobao. Presenters/models appear in an infinite vertical scroll in Taobao to showcase, model or demonstrate products, everything from clothing and makeup to household products and automotive parts. They offer price cuts and respond to user questions, similar to TV shopping channels in the US. The images are taken on a mobile phone, the favored device for internet access in China, during livecasts, just as each livecast loads and by default blurs the presenter into a form of loading screen. All evidence of this (interface, icons, clock, vertical format etc.) is preserved.

The series is extracted from Post-Photography Studies.
