Weblogs as research tools

I am doing some research about the use of weblogs as research tools and interested in anyone passing me relevant urls. What I am looking for are weblogs that are documenting research or being creatively employed (e.g. the weblog is not just documentation but integral to the research in some way) as part of research (traditional, practice-based etc.). The weblogs can be in any area (or combination) of the arts, humanities and new technologies with particular emphasis on creative output primarily as artistic work but design, architecture etc. are also relevant.

The research does not have to be text based, it could be visual, aural etc. but must be focused to some degree / have some running theme, please do not send me review sites of new media art. Most of this seems to fit under three possible categories:

  • Weblogs documenting PhD’s (and MA’s) progress e.g. Pasta and Vinegar.
  • Weblogs documenting other types of research by organisations or individuals which is specific and possibly a set duration e.g. Touch, Virtual Environment
  • Weblogs documenting other types of research by organisations or individuals which is ongoing e.g. Research / Techkwondo.

Anything that anybody can send me that fits into this would be greatly appreciated. You can post it as acomment to this post or email directly - garrett [at] thisdomain.org. Thanks in advance.
