Friend Finder (image above, video below) developed by students at the university of Maine under the guidance of tutors Owen Smith and Mike Scott is a wearable device that allows its users to meet friends or their match. Users fill out a survey which is then loaded onto their personal device integrated into a sweatshirt that has LED lights on it. When the user wears the sweatshirt and is within 30 feet of another user with similar interests, the device lights up to allow the users to spot each other.
