
A/V PERMUTATIONS (image above, video below) by the Art of Failure is a networked audio-visual installation which rather than use the network as a positive tool for collaboration/participation (hyped aspects of the web) uses it to degenerate and destroy information that is transmitted through it.
Images from the Rorschach test (also known as the Rorschach inkblot test or simply the Inkblot test), abstract chance forms which encourage us to ’see’ or recognise familar foms, are progressively modified and abstracted through transmission errors testing the limits of our ability to see forms within the images.
